The role of Assistant Director of Nursing is pivotal in the Senior Nurse Management Team, overseeing the provision of effective quality care and services.
This senior leadership position entails providing strategic direction to nursing staff, Healthcare Assistants, and Nursing Students across a 24-hour spectrum.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategically contribute to objectives of the Nursing Department by actively engaging with various activities.
- Collaborate with the DON to ensure efficient delivery of quality care and services.
- Develop staff, the nursing department, and the organisation through innovative approaches.
Assisting the DON in ensuring seamless service continuity requires operational duties within core hours and out of hours as required. This challenging role demands adaptability and resilience in the face of changing circumstances.
Requirements:- Excellent IT proficiency is crucial for this role.
- Leveraging exceptional leadership skills will be vital to achieve success.
- Proficiency in working knowledge of IPMS is necessary for optimal performance.
