Job Title: UK Credit Services Agent

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Credit Services Agent. This role involves working in a dynamic environment, providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries primarily via telephone, with some messaging included. They will also deal with PayPal general customer service inquiries to improve the customer experience.

About the Role:
  • Responsibilities include responding professionally to customer inquiries via multiple communication channels, making outbound calls to resolve issues efficiently, and identifying problems through relevant research.
  • The ideal candidate will work effectively within regulated requirements, keeping in mind financial and reputational risks, and provide feedback to management on necessary changes and updates.
  • They will make discretionary decisions based on research and regulations, impacting customer retention, PayPal loss or savings, and potential legal action or reputational damage.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in customer service, call centre, credit services, lending, transaction processing, account processing, or debit services is essential.
  • A financially regulated environment background is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, active listening, and speaking abilities are required for effective telephone communication.
  • Ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously and make informed decisions within regulations.
  • Strong customer focus, integrity, trust, and ethics are essential for success in this role.
