About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our EHS Compliance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and implementing re:Cycle Reverse Logistics' global health and safety program.

  1. Defining and implementing risk management and compliance systems, driving their continuous improvement;
  2. Setting and refining global policies and procedures;
  3. Overseeing the development of standards, tools, auditing and metrics, and employee training;
  4. Ensuring effective engagement by EHS Compliance team on global initiatives, including those that support Amazon's ambitious sustainability goals;
Key Responsibilities
  • Support health and safety needs and promote safe work practices at the facility in Dublin, ensuring compliance against regulations and standards both internally and externally;
  • Support the completion of risk assessments for operations occurring at the facility;
  • Investigate incidents and injuries that occur at the facility, perform root cause analysis, and share findings and process improvements resulting from the investigation;

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple stakeholders, including operations leaders, to address audit findings and ensure appropriate corrective actions are devised in compliance with policy. You will also deliver recommendations and risk interpretations in a clear, concise, and audience-specific format to stakeholders, business customers, and senior leadership.
