Project Site Manager Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Site Manager to oversee daily operations on projects in Sligo & Leitrim.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of site operatives and subcontractors.
  • Maintain site safety, ensure quality workmanship, and deliver projects on time.
  • Work closely with the design team and other project stakeholders for smooth communication and workflow.
  • Conduct inductions, daily toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
  • Perform quality control checks and maintain high standards of workmanship.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
  • Order materials as required and keep accurate records of site activities and deliveries.

Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years experience in a foreman or similar supervisory role on various construction sites/projects.
  • Trade background preferred (e.g., carpentry, bricklaying, etc.).
  • Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification (mandatory).
  • Current CIF Supervisor Safety Awareness training (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience with Irish Building Regulations and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
