Job Title: Rigid Truck Operator

The role of a rigid truck operator is vital to the transportation of goods across the country.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive rigid trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Plan and optimize routes to ensure timely delivery and minimize fuel consumption.
  • Accurately maintain records of cargo, including weight, dimensions, and destination.
  • Collaborate with dispatchers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Holding a valid full clean 'C' licence is essential.
  • Maintaining up-to-date CPC and Tacograph certification is mandatory.
  • Previous experience driving rigid trucks is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Galway and surrounding areas for efficient route planning is desirable.
