Medical Physics Researcher Opportunity

The School of Physics at University College Dublin is seeking a Medical Physics researcher to join its Centre for Physics in Health and Medicine (CPHM).

The successful candidate will have a recognised international research profile as an emerging leader in the application of AI and other advanced analysis techniques in Medical Physics.

  • Undertake a research programme of international repute in the implementation of advanced analysis techniques in diagnostic imaging / nuclear medicine / radiation oncology physics.
  • Seek funding at national and international levels, show leadership in building their research group, publish in high-quality peer-reviewed journals, supervise research students in our MSc and PhD programmes.
  • Establish collaborations with research groups in the School of Physics, UCD and beyond.

The appointee will also be responsible for coordinating and delivering elements of the School's undergraduate programmes and the MSc/PhD in Medical Physics.
