Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in need. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of those we serve.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide personal care and assistance to service users, including feeding, washing, and dressing. You will also be responsible for reporting any notable activities or incidents to the designated person in charge and providing emotional support to service users.

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A strong understanding of the needs of individuals with varying abilities and requirements is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support or an equivalent qualification
  • Current employment as a Healthcare Assistant/Carer (6 months minimum)
  • All vaccinations: Hepatitis B, MMR, Tuberculosis & Varicella
  • Right to work in Ireland without restriction
  • Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting
  • International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16)
