We are seeking a highly skilled Community Liaison Officer to support the implementation of specialist functional strategy on assigned projects, specifically around community engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders to undertake community liaison activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support effective implementation of specialist functional strategy on assigned projects
  • Build strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Undertake community liaison activities and deliver client objectives in a public-facing capacity
  • Drive integration of specific stakeholder and communications disciplines
  • Develop alignment of stakeholder and communications service activity to client requirements and legislation

Requirements:

  • Relevant university degree or equivalent
  • Experience working on construction projects and/or consultancy
  • Experience in face-to-face engagement with the general public/residents
  • Knowledge of relevant tools, techniques, and software
  • Ability to communicate technical engineering and design information into plain-speak English
