Senior Civil Engineer

As a Senior Civil Engineer - Design Specialist, you will provide professional support to the Multi-Annual Programmes Section, enhancing project delivery through effective technical services.
You will assist the Programme Manager and senior engineers in delivering projects to authorized targets by:
- Providing expert technical guidance to internal colleagues and external design teams.
- Collaborating with in-house and external resources for optimal utilization.
- Offering advice to line managers and colleagues on implementing industry standards, regulations, and legislation.
Key Qualifications:
- A third-level qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Membership of Engineers Ireland or equivalent governing body.
- At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a Civil and/or Structural Engineering Design office.
- A strong working knowledge of design software such as LUAS, Tekla TEEDS, SLOPE, WALLAP, or similar tools.
- An excellent understanding of current Civil and Structural Engineering design standards, Eurocodes, TII Standards, and Health & Safety Regulations.
- Revit
- Auto CAD
- Autodesk Civils 3D
- Languages: English
Occasional weekend and night shifts may be required. Experience in construction site safety, quality, and production audits is essential. A demonstrable understanding of good Project Management Procedures and competency in Health & Safety within a rail/construction environment are necessary.
