Job Description

We are seeking a Mathematical Trader Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our trading department, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing mathematical models for pricing and risk management of sport betting events.

About the Role

The primary focus of this position is on analyzing large datasets of play-by-play (simulated or historical) and betting data to identify patterns, trends, and correlations that can inform trading strategies.

Responsibilities
  1. Model Development: Assist in the development, implementation, training, and testing of mathematical models for pricing and managing the risk of sport betting events.
  2. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and clean sports-related data, and analyze large datasets to identify opportunities for trading.
  3. Programming and Automation: Use programming languages such as C# or Python to develop quantitative models, code, and automate analytical processes.
  4. Collaboration: Collaborate with senior quantitative analysts, traders, and product managers to understand business requirements, implement solutions, and communicate findings effectively.
  5. Documentation: Document and maintain clear and concise documentation of quantitative models, methodologies, and analysis procedures for internal reference.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will stay abreast of developments in quantitative analysis and betting markets through self-study and training.
