The Messaging SDK for iOS powers the messaging experience. We are looking for a seasoned developer to join our team and be actively involved in discovering and implementing new capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • We deliver top-level initiatives that enable crucial capabilities for our customers and integrators as part of an agile, intelligent, passionate, and humble team.
  • You will work closely with product management and colleagues from web and backend teams to represent the mobile perspective during feature development.
  • An integral part of the development life-cycle, you will conceptualise, design, implement, test, and ensure high quality releases of the Messaging SDK.
  • You will participate in technical discussions and decision-making with other teams and partners across the wider engineering organisation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficient with Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
  • Solid understanding of iOS platform architecture.
  • A consistent track record of coaching and mentoring junior developers.
  • Experience writing unit and instrumentation tests.
  • API Integrations: integrating RESTful APIs, handling JSON/XML data, and networking.
  • Good communication skills: effectively expressing your point of view and actively listening to others.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
