Children's Health Ireland is recruiting for a highly skilled Medical Scientist to join our Haematology team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing clinical laboratory services and supporting quality management programmes.

Purpose of the Role:

  • To develop and maintain a clinical laboratory service that meets the clinical needs of our patients.
  • To support the training and leadership of a team of skilled staff.
  • To identify and implement operational processes that optimize resource use.

Essential Criteria:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Science (Applied Science) Honours or a recognised qualification equivalent to the above.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership of the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine (ACSLM).
  • Registration with CORU, meeting specific criteria.
