Bioanalytical Expert

A Bioanalytical Specialist is required to execute and assist in batch release testing, technical transfer and co-validation activities within a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting project that offers the opportunity to learn new technology and develop current skills.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a BSc. in Biochemistry or related discipline, with strong experience in analytical techniques such as Aseptic Techniques, Cell Culture, Cell-based Bioassays and ELISA.

  • Execute and assist in batch release testing, technical transfer and co-validation activities
  • Accurately document laboratory work
  • Data review based on demonstrated proficiency on assays
  • Perform routine data analysis, assist in the investigation of OOS results, perform trending analysis and write investigation reports
  • Assist in updating and issuing documentation, including SOPs, as required
  • Assist with qualification of laboratory instruments
  • Perform instrument performance checks and calibration
  • Assist with troubleshooting of instrumentation

The successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to work independently, problem solve and prioritise objectives from multiple projects. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are also required.
