Analytical Chemist

QC Analyst Level 1

As a key member of the quality control team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your primary responsibilities will include performing routine wet chemistry testing of raw materials, in-process, finished product, and stability samples in strict compliance with GLP & cGMP procedures.

In addition to your testing duties, you will also be responsible for sampling of raw materials/excipients and water samples when required to assist the QC Sampling Technician. You will also support validation programs including process and method validations, participate in department projects as assigned by the QC Team Leader/QC Manager, and support continuous improvement projects such as 6S and lean processes for the laboratory.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in analytical chemistry, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex scientific information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in a Science related discipline (preferably Chemistry)
• Proven relevant industrial experience
• Ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that require limited judgment
• Ability to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve routine problems
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Communication skills both verbal & written with good time management skills
• Must possess the ability to work as part of a team
• Must possess knowledge of basic/intermediate chemistry and computer skills (MS Office)
