This pivotal role combines innovation and speed to ensure that the team is on track to meet the objectives of our product launches. You will play a critical role in guiding the development of high-quality software solutions, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, building, testing, and deploying scalable and efficient software applications using Node.js built on AWS technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Architects, and Global Teams.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure that software is developed following established coding standards and architectural guidelines.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in the development process.
  • You're experienced in AWS serverless services (Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, AppSync, S3, DynamoDB, RDS).
  • You're comfortable working on applications with SQL and NoSQL databases (or object storage).
  • You know Git version control, have used GitHub, and have worked with GitHub Actions.
  • You understand serverless architecture patterns and event-driven applications.

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Node.js and JavaScript-based application development.
  • 2+ years of experience working with AWS services, including Cloud Formations, WAF, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and RDS.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD processes, and DevOps principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering creative solutions to challenging problems.
