Retail Team Leader

We are seeking a skilled Retail Team Leader to join our team and drive sales initiatives, promotions, and in-store activities to maximize business performance.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have previous retail experience with leadership or supervisory experience in FMCG/Big Box retail settings, strong communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and lead a team, and exceptional customer service skills with a passion for retail.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and motivate the team to achieve targets and exceed expectations
  2. Provide hands-on coaching and guidance to ensure high standards of customer service
  3. Assist with daily store operations, including stock replenishment, merchandising, and store layout
  4. Act as a point of contact for customers, resolving issues and complaints efficiently
  5. Support staff recruitment, training, and performance management
  6. Drive sales initiatives, promotions, and in-store activities to maximize business performance
  7. Maintain a positive, energetic, and collaborative team environment
  8. Ensure store compliance with health, safety, and company policies
Requirements:
  1. Previous retail experience with leadership or supervisory experience in FMCG/Big Box retail settings
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and lead a team
  3. A proactive, positive attitude and ability to take ownership of tasks
  4. Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for retail
  5. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  6. Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively
  7. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
