Electrical Maintenance Team Leader

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of skilled electricians in a highly automated industrial setting. They will perform maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including instrumentation, PLCs, and Variable Speed Drives, ensuring plant safety and reliability.

Key responsibilities include reducing equipment downtime through quick responses, thorough root cause analysis, and effective problem-solving. The team leader will also train electricians on electrical systems and instrumentation, enhancing their fault-finding abilities.

Additional responsibilities include overseeing a team of maintenance electricians, apprentices, and contractor electricians. Ensuring the completion and continuous review of planned maintenance routines using the PEMAC maintenance management system is also a critical aspect of this role.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing and motivating teams
  • Qualified Electrician with a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Electrical or equivalent
  • Proficient in switchgear, MCC controls, relay logic, and various AC and DC voltage systems
  • High-level diagnostic and problem-solving skills in an industrial setting
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical process plants and related maintenance activities within the wastewater industry
  • At least 10 years of experience in an industrial environment
  • Thorough understanding of Health & Safety statutory requirements, responsibilities, and obligations
What We Offer
  • Salary up to €70,000 plus bonus
