About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified Histology Scientist to join our dynamic laboratory team in Dublin. This is a full-time, permanent position offering excellent opportunities for professional growth in a quality-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist in all aspects of routine histology laboratory processing and analysis.
- Ensure testing is conducted in line with INAB and JCI Accreditation Standards.
- Contribute to ongoing quality assurance and improvement activities.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
- Provide support in the training and mentoring of staff as required.
- Participate in data reporting and maintain accuracy using laboratory information systems.
Requirements:
- Eligible for or current member of the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine (ACSLM) / CORU or an equivalent recognised body.
- Minimum of 1 year of in-service training across all core laboratory disciplines.
- Essential: Experience in Histology.
- Highly Desirable: Experience in Cut Up procedures.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
- Comfortable adapting to new technologies and service developments.
