Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Cybersecurity Manager, responsible for overseeing the protection of our information systems.

This key position involves leading projects and teams to deliver technology services that meet the highest standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing ICT activities, utilizing internal and external resources to achieve optimal results.

About the Role:

  • Establish and maintain comprehensive information security frameworks, policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Develop and lead our cybersecurity programme, including assessing and improving the management of cybersecurity risks.
  • Manage the development and support of network and security infrastructures, encompassing all layers of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) network stack.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of cybersecurity technologies, including SIEM, SOC, PAM, IDP/IPS, Firewalls, etc.
  • Ensure that all external managed service providers adhere to our cybersecurity policies and standards.
  • Be accountable for responding to and managing any cybersecurity incidents and breaches.
  • Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing initiatives.
  • Oversee cybersecurity spending and budget allocation.
  • Lead the department's current cybersecurity roadmap of projects and initiatives.
  • Manage Cybersecurity Awareness Training and phishing simulation exercises for all staff.
  • Review cybersecurity requirements in all outgoing requests for tenders and requests for proposals. Provide inputs in evaluating tenders from a cybersecurity perspective, where needed.
  • Periodically report critical cybersecurity risks and cyber KPIs/metrics to Senior Management.
  • Lead and mentor the Cybersecurity Team.
  • Stay up-to-date on upcoming cybersecurity regulations and ensure compliance with them.
  • Act as a trusted ICT Security advisor in terms of digital and ICT transformation.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in managing cybersecurity programmes, with a strong background in IT security.
  2. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and mitigate complex security risks.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  5. Ability to stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.
