We are currently recruiting for the position of Agri Purchasing Coordinator within our client's agricultural cooperative.

This is a permanent role that will suit candidates with a background in agri, farming, construction, hardware, or general stores.

The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills and a hands-on approach. They will be responsible for managing the company's central store and yard, including unloading, checking, and storing deliveries, preparing and dispatching orders, and maintaining the facility in a safe and tidy condition.

Purchasing Responsibilities:
  • Liaising with managers and stores staff throughout the country on material requirements, pricing, and product changes
  • Issuing requests, quotes, and proposals for materials
  • Coordinating shipment and logistics
  • Researching new products that may benefit the business

In addition to these responsibilities, the Agri Purchasing Coordinator will also be involved in stock system maintenance duties, including recording transactions on the company's IT stock control system, generating purchase orders, and maintaining the stock database.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as experience working in a similar role. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have a strong attention to detail.
