Data Center Decommission Specialist

In this position, you will be responsible for decommissioning network and cabling infrastructure in a data center environment. This involves managing assigned work and priorities through ticketing systems, providing status updates to stakeholders via ticketing systems, collaborating with various stakeholders to remove obstacles, reading and comprehending datacenter build documentation, and site-specific layout material, and traveling within geographical work areas as required.
To excel in this role, you will need to possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
The Network & Cable Decommissioning (NCD) team is looking for a highly motivated, self-driven individual to join their team of professionals responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.
You will work closely with project managers, network engineers, and operations teams to recover cabling infrastructure and sanitize legacy abandoned cable.
