Senior Architect Position

We are seeking a skilled Senior Architect to lead our Building and Site Development Team. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years' experience, be an RIAI or RIBA Registered Architect, and possess excellent leadership skills.

About the Role

The successful candidate will take a leading role in the design and delivery of an expanding project portfolio across various industries for both public and private clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and delivery of schemes from feasibility to detailed design, contract documentation, and construction administration.
  • Leading the architectural department's expansion.
  • Ensuring understanding of project deliverables and contractual requirements.
  • Managing staff and business development.
  • Monitoring project delivery within budget and schedule.
  • Preparing designs, technical specifications, and contract documents.
  • Report writing.
  • Acting as Design & Assigned Certifier under BC(A)R.
  • Fulfilling duties of Designer under SHWW(C) Regulations.
Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and SketchUp.
  • Strong design, detailing, and technical site knowledge.
  • Experience with Irish Building and Planning Regulations.
  • Experience with planning, tender, and construction documentation.
  • Experience in large-scale residential, commercial, educational, and public sector projects.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills.
  • Member or eligibility for RIAI membership.
  • Attention to detail and quality assurance compliance.
  • Enthusiasm, hard work, flexibility, and Chartered Architect status.
