Production Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Production Support Specialist to join our 24/7 team, ensuring seamless and safe transactions for millions of payments across Europe. As a key member of our support team, you will work on a mission-critical environment providing round-the-clock support, troubleshooting issues, and resolving incidents.

You will be responsible for addressing underlying issues, contributing to problem resolution, and adhering to defined Change Control Processes. Additionally, you will perform proper handover/knowledge transfer, provide timely status reports, and submit timesheets promptly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues in a fast-paced production environment
  • Identify root causes of incidents and contribute to problem resolution
  • Collaborate with offshore teams for incidents, problems, and changes
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL standards-based processes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Banking, Commerce, or related field
  • 1+ year of technical experience (or graduate internship/entry-level role)
  • Basic knowledge of Java, SQL, and Linux
  • Strong communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to the banking/payments domain (SEPA, direct debits, credit transfers)
  • Familiarity with Global PayPlus (GPP) solutions
  • Awareness of ITIL processes and change management
