We are seeking a Disability Support Professional to join our team at Cheshire Ireland. In this role, you will support individuals with physical, sensory, and neurological disabilities with daily living tasks and assist them in accessing community resources.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Providing support with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
    ">
  2. Assisting individuals in accessing community resources and participating in activities that promote social interaction and engagement.
    ">
  3. Maintaining accurate records of individual's progress and communicating effectively with other professionals involved in their care.
    ">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will require:

">
  • A minimum of QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent qualification.
    ">
  • Experience in supporting people with disabilities, preferably within a residential or community setting.
    ">
  • A valid driving license and willingness to drive for work purposes.
    ">
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
    ">
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland is essential.
    ">
  • Good standard of verbal and written English.
    ">
  • Computer literacy and experience with online care management systems would be an advantage.
    ">
  • Personal integrity and trustworthiness.
    ">
  • Positive attitude and commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
