Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Manufacturing Equipment Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sustaining the day-to-day maintenance of SMT and PTH assembly equipment and manufacturing processes within an electronics manufacturing facility.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 6 qualification in Electronics, Mechanical/Automation Electrical, Technology, Mechatronics or similar, and greater than 2 years' experience in a certified Electronics Manufacturing environment, applying Lean principles and contributing to improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of SMT and PTH assembly equipment and manufacturing process
- Yield improvement through monitoring of build quality and identifying/resolving quality yield issues
- Ensure equipment is maintained in safe working order and preventative maintenance schedules are adhered to
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Level 6 qualification in relevant field
- Greater than 2 years' experience in Electronics Manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Lean principles and improvement projects
