About the Job:
At Ethos Engineering, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on various projects from concept to completion, collaborating with senior engineers and contributing to project design files.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design Mechanical Services for projects under supervision with increasing autonomy.
- Participate in site visits alongside senior engineers.
- Contribute to project design files and work towards a professional qualification.
- Organize information effectively and uphold quality assurance standards.
- Manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks independently.
- Attend internal meetings and CPD sessions, leveraging Microsoft Office experience while developing skills in industry software.
Requirements:
- 4 or more years of industry experience in mechanical building services.
- Knowledge and experience with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of various mechanical systems (heating, air conditioning, plumbing).
- Familiar with structural, architectural, and electrical models.
