About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the daily processing of loan securities, including private debt loans, direct lending loans, club loans, and broadly syndicated loans. Your expertise will be essential in identifying agent notices, processing life cycle events, and collaborating with loan administrators to resolve exceptions.

Duties

  • Support daily loan securities processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Identify and process agent notices, resolving any related issues
  • Collaborate with loan administrators to interpret loan-related information and resolve exceptions
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external parties, including loan agents, fund accountants, recon, custody, auditors, vendors, and clients
  • Support daily securities processing, including bonds, equities, and FX Forwards
  • Liaise between clients, loan agents, and internal teams to resolve breaks and open reconciling items
  • Process trade corrections and manage pre-settlement confirmation for private loan securities
  • Manage daily activities, providing clients with portfolio positions, posting transactions, and delivering information to fund accounting teams
  • Investigate and reconcile breaks, establishing an escalation process
  • Monitor trade capture and upload trades to the FIS VPM platform
  • Create and maintain process flows and control tools for new business needs
  • Built and maintain internal and external relationships

Requirements

  • Loan administration and private debt financial security instruments experience
  • Experience with private debt trade flow
  • FIS VPM vended application experience is advantageous
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintaining high standards with tight deadlines, high volumes, and demanding trading desks and clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven team player, taking ownership for own role while contributing to wider team efforts
  • Knowledge of custody, securities lending, prime brokerage, market trading practices, and position processing treatment
