About the Job
  • We are seeking an experienced Senior DeltaV Automation Engineer to support a multinational pharmaceutical client at a state-of-the-art biotechnology site in Cork.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position, with expertise in designing, configuring, and testing DeltaV software.
Key Accountabilities
  • Design, configure, and test DeltaV software including graphics, control modules, equipment modules, and phases.
  • Oversee design, configuration, and testing activities of other project team engineers.
  • Commissioning of new equipment.
  • Provide production support on DeltaV issues.
  • Execution of change controls.
  • Provide project status updates to management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or the Life Sciences.
  • Strong knowledge of S-88 Batch standard.
  • Good understanding of GAMP.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills required.
  • Ability to work well within diverse, multi-disciplined teams.
