Job Description

This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for supervising team members, implementing standard operating procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

  • Be aware of the site's business expectations and ensure exceptional guest services are delivered.
  • Greet guests warmly and address their queries in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Supervise and manage staff rostered to work, ensuring they are present in full uniform as per company standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, deliver exceptional customer service, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
  • Ensure departments operate according to official opening hours and act on issues related to opening and closing a department.
  • Record staff lateness/sickness as per company procedure and report it to the relevant department manager.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Supervise, manage, and assist in the daily operation of all service areas, ensuring they are adequately staffed and supervised.
  • Participate in stock takes and ensure implementation of cleaning procedures across non-departmental areas.
Requirements
  • Assertive and authoritative while also courteous and respectful.
  • Understand how to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Diplomatic and able to take control of situations and address them in a calm and professional manner.
