Job Title: EHS Senior SpecialistDescription:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our team. As a senior specialist, you will provide technical guidance on ensuring compliance with relevant legal requirements and industry best practices.

Your key responsibilities will include supporting general safety and high-risk work programs, contributing to environmental programs, providing safety support for ongoing projects and new initiatives, participating in local safety teams, audits, inspections, incident investigations, and other safety programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support General Safety and High-Risk Work Programs as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Contribute to Environmental Programs, including air, water, and waste management.
  • Provide safety support for ongoing projects and new initiatives.
  • Participate in local safety teams, audits, inspections, incident investigations, and other safety programs.
  • Serve as an EHS representative for risk assessments, change management impact assessments, training delivery, and contractor management.
  • Audit and assess EHS processes and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or related field of study.
  • At least 7 years of experience in EHS, Engineering, or Operations in chemical, pharmaceutical, biochemical, petrochemical, or process-related industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish H&S and Environmental legislation and regulations.
  • Experience with High-Risk Work programs and contractor management is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain focus on key goals while analyzing detail for problem resolution.
  • Proven record of success in the EHS sector.
  • Experience supporting multiple activities/projects and managing change.
