Job Overview

The Support Worker will work as part of a dedicated team to provide individualised services to children with disabilities who attend the School of the Divine Child. The successful candidate will have a positive impact on the lives of these children and contribute to creating a supportive environment that promotes their well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualised support to children with disabilities, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective support plans that meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting children with disabilities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support or related field, or equivalent experience working with children with disabilities.
  • Full clean manual driving license and willingness to drive company vehicles.
  • Eligibility to work in the state.
