Senior Front-End Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate front-end professional to lead the development of our UI components in a centralized Storybook workspace.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize shared UI components to ensure visual and functional consistency across multiple applications.
  • Collaborate with peer front-end engineers and UX designers to implement common UI patterns and best practices.
  • Elevate front-end engineering excellence through code reviews, testing (unit, integration, E2E), and CI/CD practices.
  • Mentor development teams on UI guidance and component implementation.
  • Improve tooling, developer experience, and component test automation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of front-end development experience with strong emphasis on component reusability and design systems.
  • Expertise in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5.
  • Strong familiarity with Storybook, component documentation, and reusable design pattern implementation.
  • Experience working with mono repos, shared libraries, and large-scale UI platforms.
  • Familiarity with RxJS, NgRx, and functional programming concepts.
  • Ability to collaborate with UX teams and apply accessibility principles.
  • Lead front-end technical discussions and influence best practices.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL, Node.js, and Azure DevOps is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and comfort working in a globally distributed team environment.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about front-end development, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
