Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all training and support activities for the roll-out of new devices in laboratory diagnostic solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide detailed product training programs for healthcare professionals in hospitals across Ireland.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Diagnostics Manager to ensure all training projects are delivered professionally and on time.
  • Ensure effective sales coverage of all hospitals, public and private, in Ireland, including the Dublin, Cork, and Galway areas.
  • Support the existing Clinical Diagnostic sales team with training and customer development as necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation, including training competency documents and audit documents.
  • Initiate technical support or manufacturing support as required.
  • Report to the Clinical Diagnostic Manager and work closely with other sales teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science or nursing discipline.
  • One year's experience in training, support, or sales is preferred.
  • A background in clinical diagnostics systems or laboratory equipment is essential.
  • Driving license required.
