Physical Therapist Job Description

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping clients regain their independence and improve their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and measurements to inform treatment decisions.
  • Implement manual therapeutic exercises and gait training to promote physical function and mobility.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to revise and update care plans as needed.
  • Educate clients and caregivers on rehabilitative techniques and strategies for independent living.
  • Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations to ensure effective care management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the relevant state.
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Solid computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMRs).
