**Healthcare Support Professional**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team of relief staff working in the public healthcare sector. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who wish to pursue a rewarding career in patient care.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out assigned tasks involving direct care and all activities of daily living. They will also maintain standards of personal hygiene, dietary intake, physical and mental health. Additionally, they will ensure that care is carried out in an empathetic manner and that dignity is respected.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To assist patients with their mobility using appropriate moving equipment when needed.
  • To maintain the confidentiality of all information made available.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • QQI/FETAC Level 5 qualification in a Healthcare discipline
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Patient Moving & Handling
  • Visa or GNIB (if applicable)
  • International Police Clearance (if lived abroad 6+ months)
