About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with their hands and tools, and are committed to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining the interior and exterior of community buildings and grounds, ensuring they meet current federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
  • Scheduling and performing regular maintenance on various equipment, including HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler systems, generators, landscape equipment, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment.
  • Responding to maintenance requests from community directors and residents, both in private rooms and public living areas.
  • Maintaining positive communication with local authorities, including the fire marshal and building inspector.
Qualifications
  • Experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
