Mater Hospital's Cardiovascular Laboratory Department requires a skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Radiographer to lead and guide the Radiography team in delivering high-quality services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage Radiography staff, ensuring excellent patient care and service delivery.
- Collaborate with Consultant Cardiologists, CNM2 Nurse Lead, CVRRE Operations Manager, Radiology Directorate Manager, Medical Physics, and Radiography Services Managers to develop and maintain a professional service standard.
- Coordinate the usage of 3 Cardiac Catheterisation units, ensuring correct usage by non-Radiography staff and maintaining system functionality for optimum image quality.
- Support the development of the Cardiovascular service in Theatre Hybrid Fluoroscopy unit, including support for Cardiovascular cases in the Hybrid Suite.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in managing multidisciplinary teams. A deep understanding of Radiography principles and practices is essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
