Senior Social Care Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Care Professional to join our team. As a Senior Social Care Professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care services to vulnerable children and their families.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in social care, with a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience working with children with complex needs. You will have excellent leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team of social care professionals.
You will be responsible for coordinating and allocating cases to the wider staff team, including social care workers, counselors, family therapists, and external referrals. You will also be responsible for collecting and analyzing statistical data, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care services to vulnerable children and their families

- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures
The ideal candidate will possess a professional qualification in social care, with a minimum of an Ordinary Bachelor's degree (NFQ Level 7) or Honours Bachelor's degree (NFQ Level 8) in Social Care. You will also need to be registered with CORU or eligible for registration.
In addition to your qualifications, you will have:
- Minimum two years post-qualification experience working with children with complex needs
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills
- Ability to relate to and care for vulnerable children and families with respect
- Understanding of family dynamics, youth mental health, substance misuse, hidden harm, separated families, and domestic violence/abuse
We offer a competitive salary aligned to the HSE pay scale, as well as a range of benefits including:
- Annual leave: 25 days + 3 days over Christmas
- Sick leave: 3 weeks full sick pay with GP cert from day one
- Time In Lieu available
- Salary paid monthly on the 28th
