We are seeking an experienced BUILDING MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST to oversee the maintenance and repair of our buildings and facilities. This is a fixed-term maternity cover role responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of building maintenance.

The successful candidate will ensure that all building maintenance and repairs are carried out in a timely and efficient manner, and that all facilities are maintained to a high standard. The role requires excellent technical knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all building maintenance and repairs, ensuring they are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Co-ordinate and manage site visits, ensuring all necessary paperwork, H&S documentation and remedial actions are completed in a timely manner.
  • Lead and manage relationships with service contractors, ensuring compliance with contracts.
  • Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring effective cost control while maintaining service quality.
  • Oversee and manage the maintenance inbox, ensuring timely responses to inquiries, and assist the Coordinator with any requests or queries they may be unable to address.

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of building maintenance and repair.
  • Experience with HVAC, electrical systems, and other building services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
