Job Description

As a Rigid Truck Driver, your primary responsibility will be to safely transport goods across designated routes in Ireland. You will ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safely transport goods: Ensure that all goods are securely loaded, transported, and unloaded without any damage or loss.
  • Maintain vehicles: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle to uphold safety standards and prevent any potential issues.
  • Adhere to regulations: Familiarize yourself with and comply with all relevant transport regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Valid C Driving Licence: A valid Category C driving license is essential for this position.
  • CPC Certificate: A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) certificate is required to demonstrate your expertise and commitment to the profession.
  • Excellent communication skills: Strong communication and customer service skills are necessary to interact with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to work independently: You must be able to work independently, manage your time efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
