Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development of our AI-powered products in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. This role requires a deep understanding of AI/ML concepts, data pipelines, and model lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering successful product initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities
  • AI Product Roadmap: Define and drive the AI product roadmap aligned with business goals and customer needs in pharma/biotech manufacturing
  • AI Opportunity Identification: Identify opportunities for AI/ML to solve real-world problems in areas such as batch release, deviation management, predictive maintenance, and quality assurance
  • Business Case Development: Elaborate business cases related to AI initiatives, highlighting expected costs and revenue, to be presented to company leadership for approval
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, regulatory experts, and UX designers to deliver AI-powered features and products
  • Customer Engagement: Partner with commercial and customer success teams to gather feedback and ensure product-market fit
  • Product Ownership: Support Product Owners in translating complex AI concepts into clear product requirements and user stories
  • Problem-Solving: Coach and help Product Owners find the right solutions to problems by evaluating ideas in terms of value, customer perspective, and risks
  • Prioritization: Prioritize features and manage the product backlog to ensure timely delivery of high-impact solutions
  • Compliance: Ensure AI models are explainable, auditable, and compliant with GxP and other regulatory standards

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML products
  • Skills: Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, data pipelines, and model lifecycle management
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing IT domain is highly preferred
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with GxP, GMP, and regulatory requirements in life sciences
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Languages: Fluent in English, with the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and work effectively across teams
