Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of Health and Safety on the project
  • Review and comment on design drawings and raise RFI's as necessary
  • Active participation in Design Team Meetings, ensuring constant review of design documents and close out of outstanding design issues
  • Communicate content of approved technical submittals to trade and finishing team
  • Understand target delivery programme, weekly reporting of same and active intervention to prevent programme delays
  • Management and coordination of subcontractors and service providers to ensure testing and commissioning timelines are met
  • Monitor and evaluate quality control of subcontractor work and suppliers
  • Ensure works are executed in compliance with Building Regulations, design documents and all applicable standards
  • Continuous inspection of works on site, recording, raising, and resolving issues in a timely manner

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 5 years' work experience
  • Able to achieve demanding time and quality targets
  • Good spoken and written communication skills
  • Methodical, pay attention to detail and accurate
  • Good at working with people at all levels and willing to work in a team
  • Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative
  • Able to co-ordinate a number of different projects at the same time
  • Willing to accept responsibility for completing designated tasks
