The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing import and export activities, as well as regulatory requirements. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, traders, freight forwarders, and distributors.
  • Develop and implement best practices for customs processes.
  • Oversee the creation and discharge of T1 & T2 documents.
  • Plan, direct, and control UK import activities on a daily basis.

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years proven experience in customs and trade compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish, EU and 3rd country customs regulations, SPS requirements, and Brexit-related trade policies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
