Key to delivering innovative and cutting-edge propulsion systems is collaboration with a talented team of Mechanical Engineers. As part of this team, you will play a crucial role in the conceptual development and detailed design of propulsion systems, components, and assemblies for a range of products.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, enabling them to develop solutions from scratch through to detailed drawings for machined, cast, fabricated, and additive manufactured components and assemblies using 3D design software.

  • Mature and develop system bill of materials, drawings, and product life management to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Analyze and report on system designs against required regulations, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Specify materials, surface finishes, treatments, and component tolerances to meet assembly and endurance requirements in harsh marine environments.
  • Optimize system and component designs for weight, cost, and efficiency while ensuring compliance with certification requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will require a University degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline (2:1 Hons or above) or HND and 3+ years experience working in an innovative engineering team.

Prior experience in a marine/motorsport/aerospace setting is highly desirable, as is experience with Electric Drive Units (EDU), engines, or high-performing mechanical systems.
