Heritage Consultant Role

Join a dynamic team as a Heritage Consultant and contribute to the preservation of cultural heritage.

This exciting role will see you working on high-profile projects, collaborating with experts in the field, and developing your skills in archaeological fieldwork project management.

You will be responsible for leading fieldwork projects from planning and consent applications, delivering bespoke archaeological strategies and works for developments and infrastructure, and ensuring that your work withstands public inquiry.

  • Monitoring and assuring the work of subcontractors, both on-site and in technical review of deliverables.
  • Preparing competitive tenders and designing scope and methodology for archaeological fieldwork.
  • Producing or contributing to archaeological desk-based assessments.
  • Undertaking stakeholder, curator, and client liaison.
Key Responsibilities
  • Archaeological fieldwork project management.
  • Robust knowledge of Irish archaeology and history, and full knowledge of planning process and relevant environmental/heritage legislation and guidance.
  • Excellent writing skills and communication abilities.
  • Motivated, conscientious, and efficient approach to work.
