We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead our projects and deliver results.

Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to take on a leadership role and drive the delivery of high-profile projects. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil engineering project management, including team management, budgeting, and quality control. They should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects within specified timelines and budgets
  • Develop and implement project plans, risk management strategies, and quality assurance processes
  • Maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
  • Monitor and control project expenses, ensuring adherence to budget targets
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management
  • Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland or ICE
  • Excellent understanding of engineering principles behind drainage, water, roads, and traffic system design
  • Familiarity with DMURS and GCCC Contracts
  • Experience in compiling engineering planning documentation and producing Flood Risk Assessments
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, and AutoCAD
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Road Safety Audit experience
  • Knowledge of costing and options appraisal

The successful candidate will be able to plan and manage the use of human and physical resources for their projects, while also having a strong appreciation of the full Project Delivery Process. Additionally, they should have a commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and competence, as well as a proactive approach with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios.
