About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our production operations team as a Manufacturing Engineer. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzing process specifications and performance requirements to identify areas for improvement.
  • Introducing new equipment and validating its performance to ensure it meets our quality standards.
  • Troubleshooting new products and processes in collaboration with our product development teams.
  • Conducting continuous improvement and yield analysis to optimize our manufacturing processes.
  • Driving improvements in process design, layout, and operational performance to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborating with our technicians, operators, and other cross-functional teams to ensure business process success.
  • Executing new equipment introductions and carrying out validations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Performing root cause analysis using Lean tools and techniques to identify and resolve issues.
  • Developing and improving process procedures to ensure consistency and quality.

Your Requirements

  • NFQ Level 7 or 8 in a Technical Discipline (Biomedical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, etc.).
  • Minimum 2-5 years experience working at an Engineering level, preferably in the Medical Device industry or other highly regulated environment.
  • Project Planning/Management experience is highly desirable.
  • Automated Manufacturing equipment experience is advantageous.
  • Process & Equipment validations IQ/OQ/PQ are desirable.
