Job Title: Senior Project Civil Engineer

This role involves working within our client's design team, delivering projects and liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. We are looking for a skilled and experienced civil engineer to join our team on a senior project.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on commercial, retail, hotel, residential, educational, and industrial projects.
  • Carry out designs, inspections, and planning applications in accordance with relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Act as liaison between the design team and stakeholders of projects, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Production of drainage/utility/service design, including stormwater design, foul sewer systems, watermain design, bulk earthworks & levels, lines/sign and traffic calming (within residential developments) - DMURS compliance.

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills, especially the ability to translate designs into comprehensive drawings/information for construction.
  • Experience in leading civil engineering site development design and construction projects (primarily residential projects ranging in scale from 50 to 500 units).
  • Knowledge of Irish planning system requirements, especially with regards civil design.
  • Experience in design of sustainable urban drainage systems and general building drainage systems.
  • Engineers' Ireland membership with ambition to achieve Chartered Engineers status.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communicator with fluent English.
  • Full clean Irish driving license.
