Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Community Employment Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient management and coordination of human, financial, and material resources of up to 17 participants on our CE Project.

You will work closely with the Sponsoring Committee to maximize opportunities for participants through training and development towards long-term employment or further education.

As a Community Employment Supervisor, you will ensure that all aspects of the project are delivered in line with CE Operational Procedures and that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Administer and maintain DSP accounts and budgets, including payroll.
  • Claims Preparation: Prepare and monitor monthly claims for materials and training through Welfare Partners.
  • Audit Support: Liaise with the nominated accountant regarding end-of-year accounts and assist on yearly audits.
  • Project Development: Apply for new projects every three years and devise individual learning plans (ILPs) for all participants, together with Cheshire Ireland line managers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven Competency: Proven competency in one or more of the following areas: Business/Financial Administration, Communication & Interpersonal Skills, Training, Human Resources, People Management, ICT Skills (e.g., Microsoft Office), and Payroll.
  • Minimum Requirements: A minimum of three years' relevant supervisory and people management experience.
