Project Overview

The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing large-scale projects or multiple sites, ensuring seamless execution of processes and procedures. This position delivers projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards while adhering to Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality protocols.

Main Responsibilities
  • Foster strong relationships with staff, senior stakeholders, clients, sub-contractors, engineers, foremen, and quantity surveyors.
  • Take ownership of project delivery through leadership, management, and technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage sub-contractors, engineering, and operational staff on site, promoting a collaborative environment.
  • Develop and implement weekly work programmes, producing regular reports on project progress.
  • Oversight of site teams to ensure key milestones are met.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams on project design process.
  • Work closely with Contracts Managers to report progress, ensuring site programme aligns with objectives.
  • Emphasize the importance of an accident-free site, reinforcing a Health & Safety culture.
  • Attend and chair weekly management meetings, driving forward-thinking solutions.
  • Deliver day-to-day project lifecycle from initial stages through to handover.

Educational Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven 5+ years experience in similar role within construction or civil engineering industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of demands and expectations of the role in dynamic environment.
  • Full driver's licence
